Worming

Pups are raised with a strict worming protocol. Puppy will have been last wormed with Milbemax the Monday before they come to you.

We suggest that puppy is wormed again at 10 weeks with Milbemax and then at 12, and monthly for life. The Milbemax wormer which covers up to 5 kgs is suitable for pups for the 10 week dose.

Milbemax is an all wormer, including heart worm for one month, and is an effective, safe wormer. We suggest you speak to your vet about heart worm injections at the time of pup’s final vaccination. These cover heart worm for one year, and in conjunction with an all wormer will help keep your pup safe.
